Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (July 31, 2019) – Today, the Arena Football League (AFL) officially announced the appointment of Adam Lorber as Vice President of Business Operations for the Atlantic City Blackjacks. In this position, Mr. Lorber will oversee day-to-day operations for the Atlantic City Blackjacks, who were previously managed by Trifecta Sports and Entertainment, as the league assumes control of business operations for the team. Lorber is also charged with continuing to grow the team after a successful inaugural season.

Mr. Lorber’s career in the professional sports industry spans over 19 years. Previously, Mr. Lorber served as Vice President of Business Development for the Staten Island Yankees for three seasons before being promoted to Chief Revenue Officer. He also served as the President and General Manager of the Camden Riversharks for nine years, and as the Director of Corporate Sales for the New Jersey Nets. Additionally, Lorber has held positions with the Professional Bull Riders, the Lakewood Blue Claws and the Newark Bears. In 2009, Mr. Lorber was honored with the prestigious Atlantic League Executive of the Year Award.

Mr. Lorber received his master’s degree in Business Administration from Arcadia University in 2012, and graduated from The University of Miami with a B.A. in Political Science and Pre-Law in 1996. With Mr. Lorber’s expertise in leading sports franchises, he will be looked upon to increase sales opportunities and entrench the team into the marketplace.
